We came here for beers after dinner. The building has a warm pub feeling and there was plenty of booths to sit at. Our server gave us great recommendations on beers and we were able to sample many as the prices were very reasonable.
I love their pumpkin beers in the fall and the Space Dust is my all time favorite IPA. I’m hopeful that the new ownership doesn’t change this place. Solid beer and a great place to hang out. I don’t eat here too often unless it’s small plates or happy hour.
My experience here wasn’t very good. I went by myself and sat at the bar and had to wait a while to get served. The bartenders were very friendly and seemed reluctant to answer my questions about beer. They also seem to care more about chatting with themselves then with their customers. Also corporate beer sucks so I won’t be going here anymore. Shame on their owners for selling out
Horrible experience before I could get in the door…. I was on a bicycle ride today and though I would stop at Elysian Fields for lunch, and had a horrible experience before I could even get in the door. The bouncer at the door insisted I needed to park and lock my bike across the street and down a ways instead of in front of the brewery where there was ample room and I could keep an eye on it. It was a slow day and no one was outside (not that it should matter anyway…) I asked to gals at the front desk and they said it would be OK, only to have one of them come back out a minute later to tell the the bouncer had insisted I do not. So corporate, So clueless…
A+ food and service. The steak frites are to die for. Service was.good without being pushy. Nice atmosphere.
