Went here aprs shopping and had a great time on their rooftop patio. Very hip place with cool atmosphere, good vibe. Good food and drinks. We just had appetizers so did not try their dinner menu.
I know I’m suppose to like this place because of it’s rooftop, but I don’t. I stopped in for a cocktail with my better half and once we stepped off the elevator the design read 80’s airport. There were dated televisions enclosed in a media center made of carpet.A dirty martini is always my goto cocktail. I’m a creature of habit and before I could even scan through the cocktail list, my mouth slipped up and I went for my usual. Which was executed properly for the most part.The infamous rooftop, looked a bit like an ikea display. The added fireplaces were a nice touch. I love fire. Nevertheless it’s not my type of scene or energy so I won’t be back unless, I’m forced to by a friend. I like to compromise. mounivong.blogspot.com

Perfect outdoor summer spot!. On a warm summer night, there are few nightlife spots in Seattle as cool as Frolik. In fact, this place does not seem Seattle at all. Maybe more like NYC? The huge deck boasts rectangular tables with flames shooting up in the middle, gorgeous blue lighting, couches, and a DJ; It’s sexy and alluring. Did I mention the outdoor ping pong and shuffleboard tables? The inside is a little more regular, the ultra-modern white furnishings help set the tone. Food seems to be pretty good, I’ve been a couple times with a party and mostly everyone seemed happy. I had a grilled cheese on artisan bread that was heavenly.
Excellent Outdoor Dining in the Heart of Seattle. Wanted an outdoor lunch experience in downtown Seattle and the concierge at Nordstrom suggested Frolik located on the 5th floor terrace of the former Red Lion Hotel (now Motif). This was a great choice. The manager, Kirk, was welcoming and professional. The outdoor terrace is comfortable and contemporary. They offer a lunch time happy hour known as ‘mid day frolik’ that features $5 cocktails. My guest and I both had the kale salad with quinoa and faro topped with 5 perfectly grilled prawns. It was excellent. Our server, Curtis, was fantastic! Two thumbs up for Frolik. Keep up the excellent food and service. Can’t wait to return.
Love atmosphere. Stayed in hotel and wandered into have a drink. Great happy hour specials and chicken sliders were great. Fabulous balcony with ping pong, shuffleboard, and fireplaces.
