Came in for lunch and got a slice of New York-style pepperoni, it was good. Despite it being fairly busy, the staff was polite, and the service was quick. I will definitely go here again when I need a quick slice of pizza.
This has just recently been brought to my attention from my other half who is a transplant from the midwest, that we have horrible pizza here on the west coast. All that negativity was shut down after we stopped into Mamas Pizza. They do whole pies and pizza by the slice and its always delicious. They are open late as well for all the drunken riff raff around the hill, I am sometimes one of them. My favorite slice is the pesto pizza, I’m almost convinced they sprinkle crack on top because I am addicted. I cannot express how much I love this place. mounivong.blogspot.com
Awesome pizza! Be sure and try the pesto. And I’m Lovin the pepperoni!
It was GOOD pizza!! Went out looking for something on the hill late while visiting family at Swedish Heart & Vascular Center. Bought by the slice, loved the simple pepperoni, also try the pesto!
Slow Delivery. Me and my girlfriend didn’t want to cook, or make the trek down the hill so we decided to order from Hot Mama’s: the woman on the phone was friendly, but warned us that the delivery would take over an hour. We were surprised at the wait, but decided to go for it anyway. Our large pie with veggie toppings arrived almost an hour later on the dot, fresh and hot, in the hands of a friendly tattooed, bearded delivery boy. The Pie was about what we expected (made better because the long wait made us so hungry), came with packets of crushed red pepper, and was slightly larger than we expected. Overall the taste was pretty average for Seattle pizza, though my girlfriend complained that their tomato sauce a was too sweet (a grudge that has kept us from returning for more). If you’re okay with the wait, expect friendly service and an utterly average pizza.
Punk Rock Food = Overrated. Hey, its cheap. So are raw potatoes. That’s all I have to say.
One Of The Best!. I feel like I’ve gone to heaven every time I go to Hot Mama’s and am served by their super friendly staff! They are CONSISTENTLY good with their slices and/or whole pizzas. The crust is crispy, but not cracker thin. The sauce has just the right touch of spice, and the amount of cheese they use is not overpowering and gooey, but VERY satisfying! If you like pesto, you will love their pesto pizza.
