To be fair, I love 50s style burger joints so I’m a little biased. But the atmosphere and food were just what I was expecting. No the milkshake wasn’t the best I’ve ever had and no the burger wasn’t a gourmet masterpiece but it was a fun atmosphere and the waitress I had was awesome. She was fun, engaging and had a great smile the whole time, even when my nephew started acting up.
Just alright. We’re from Canada so it was more the novelty of going to a ’50’s American style diner / chain restaurant. We grabbed a booth and were promptly moved out of it so they could accommodate a large family. We didn’t mind. A little bit of a wait for food. Burger was good. Fries were a little disappointing. Milkshake was good but it gave me a stomach ache later on. Overall not great but if you’ve never been it’s worth trying once. Also I think the staff were supposed to be fun, but they all looked overworked and depressed. There were a lot of kids around and I didn’t see much interaction. Maybe an off day.
Was here at 8:30 pm. Not many people, but it took them so long to bring us the food. We ordered a cheese burger and a super sundae. Ok cheese burger; horrible sundae! Waitresses are not bright at all!
It depends. It is not great, at all. That being said, I took my eight year old nephew before we went to the movies, and he absolutely loved it. The staff is fun, the food barely above fast food, but it’s cheap and a great place to take kids.
Ick.. It WAS late at night, after a movie, but the fries were dry and old, the waiter tired. the food was not good at all. Will not go back.
I dare you to try & get speedy service. Even when it’s time to leave, the server is nowhere to be found. So you walk to the register & are left standing for over five minutes until someone decides to help you pay your bill for the run of the mill food. I’d only suggest this place if Mcdonalds was closed. At least at McDonald’s they don’t force you to wait for the privilege of paying the tab.
Fattening but fun. Get a malt and a burger and feel bad about it later!
