Nice, quaint place. Very quick and not very expensive food. Less than $20 for the two of us to eat a great lunch. Nice grilled chicken and beef and the teriyaki sauce was sweet and somewhat thick. Overall, we enjoyed our meal quite a bit!
A bit overpriced and not very good.
Mmmmmm…is very good!. First off, the service is always fast and friendly. I would eat here everyday, if I could afford too. Prices are reasonable in my opinion. The meat is always tender and juicy and the rice is always perfect and Kyoto uses THICK teriyaki sauce. Good sized portions for the price. They have a lot of options on their menu ranging from the regular teryaki dishes you are used to, vegeterian options, yakisobas and Korean dishes. They must have decent Korean food because I see Korean students from Seattle U and SCCC in here all the time eating. This is the best teriyaki I have had on Capitol Hill, hands down. The only thing I don’t like are the egg rolls. They could stand a serious upgrade. Soggy and not very tasty.
Best Teriyaki on the hill.
