The restaurant is in a modern setting just on the edge of Seattle University’s campus. Even though it was busy, each table is far enough apart to make it feel very intimate and to allow for easy conversation. The wait staff were quiet and unobtrusive, appearing at the right moment and leaving us to ourselves for the privacy of our meal.
Just perfection. Attentive service, amazing food, excellent wine pairings and beautiful setting. Great team at this restaurant. Nice to have the ownership team so present.
Wow. Just – wow. The most perfect dining experience! Absolutely all the food was to die for here. Between the raw bar menu items, the selection of charcuterie and cheeses, to the amaaaaazing starters and mains. And the wine! I simply cannot rave enough about how perfectly spiced and cooked everything was. The desserts here are also incredible and the staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly. Our server was so helpful and gave us some very good recommendations as well. For anyone looking for a nice dinner or date spot I would definitely recommend this place above all else!!!
Upscale expensive restaurant with good classy ambience but small portions of overpriced mediocre food. We had been looking forward to eating here but found it a bit disappointing.
I’ve been food stalking Lark for some time and after a long day of galavanting around town with my other half, we landed at Lark. We grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered cocktails and an app. Our bartender was simply amazing (I hate myself for not remembering his name). We left and decided next time we will stop in for dinner. We made reservations and got to the restaurant a bit early and grabbed a seat at the bar… again, and encountered once again this amazing bartender, he actually remembered us from the last time we were in and we had a glass of amazing wine with him, tipped him well and headed to our dining table. Thats when things just went down hill. Our server seemed annoyed and we asked for a recommendation on wine, he said get whatever you want (that was a chance for you to up sell sir) then our appetizer was dropped, it was burnt to a crisp, we flagged the food runner down and its clearly not her fault, so she flags the waiter down and they continue to have a conversation over us about the preparation of the dish and then the server proceeded to ask us so you didn’t like it? We let him know we like what we ordered we just would like it prepared properly (it wasn’t edible). That in itself rubbed us the wrong way so we decided to ditch the horrid experience before it could go any further. We paid our bill and tipped and left. Thank you to the lovely manager who tried to save the night, but the damage had been done. mounivong.blogspot.com
