Good portions for decent prices, quick and friendly service, clean and cosy, nice for a quick tasty takeaway ! Located just a little away from pikes market and always stop here amidst my shopping trips to target and the likes on my trips to Seattle and craving some Asian chow. Their appetisers ,curry and certain noodle dishes are enjoyable and well portioned but some of the others can be not so authentic but for a 10-15 dollar meal you can’t expect gourmet.
Yum.. I always get Swimming Rama when i get thai. this is some of the best Swimming Rama i have ever had. the tofu was cooked well, the spinach wasn’t overly greasy, and they really pour the sauce on. so much sauce. so delicious sauce. and really reasonably priced.
Great lunch!. I love their coconut curry soup! It is my go-to menu item. They also have a great lunch special with various deals on items. They are fast, friendly, and the food is always great. Also, for being so close to Pike Place they are never overly busy, which is great for a quick meal downtown.
Not Too Impressive. Looking for a good lunch spot, and read all the positive reviews about this place. The food isn’t terrible, but I was really not impressed by the Chicken Phad Thai – way, way too much sauce overwhelmed the plate. It tasted like noodles and ketchup. I don’t base my recommendations off of one visit (no consistency), and will try again, but hopefully it’s up to par on following visits.
Very fast service. Very good food. Hot level is not hot enough, go for the highest spice level.
Love/hate relationship with the line. I love that Mae Phim is so good that the lunch line is literally out the door and up the block but am so happy they opened a 2nd location to take off some of the pressure. Hot and tasty big portions at a small price. Usually I can make 2 meals out of 1 entree so under $10 for 2 meals downtown is a great price.
Popped in for lunch and was served quickly and efficiently. The Mae Phim special chicken was delicious, served with some plain boiled rice. For less than 7 bucks plus tip, this is unbearable value.
