#VegetarianHawkAlthough a place for meat lovers, this restaurant serves high quality vegetarian food. Located on east pike street, there is a good choice of starters and entrees to select from. My favorite starter has been Baba Ghanoush (charred eggplant with unlimited pita). Often, i could not get to the entree section, as the pita is so fulfilling. In the entrees, I tried Fleifleh : a sandwich with stuffing made ofpepper paste, onions and olives. The portion size is large and filling enough to serve 2 people, if had with a starter. It is served with two kinds of sauce and french fries.By far, the most balanced entree I ever had isMujadarra. Withlentils and rice as the base, the dish is spiced up with fresno chilis while caramelized onions and yogurt bring that balance to the palate.

Missed Arabic food after being deprived of it for almost 4 months, so we tried this restaurant just across Starbucks R. Ambience – YEAH! Mamnoon’s interiors are fun and quirky. Love the flying featherless chickens! Fatoush – MEH. I’ve tasted some incredibly delicious versions in the Middle East so maybe I’m being a bit harsh on this one. Loved the presentation though.Mint lemonade – MEH. Nothing special.Lamb mana’eesh – BLEH. Too salty! This isn’t what an authentic Lebanese manoushe tastes like! Baba ghanoush – YEAH! Nyomnyom…Baklava – YEAH! Delish. Filo pastry cooked right; not smothered with sweet syrup!Would I go back? Yes, if only for the baklava!

Amazing food, soothing ambiance and great service. Nice combinations of breads and gravies and good options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian patrons. Hummus based dishes are must have. Baklawa is a must-taste too. We keep going back to Mamnoon for more.Food 9/10Service 8/10Ambiance 7/10Price 8/10

Delicious food, great ambience. Was very busy when I was here, so the orders were taken later than I’d have liked and there were periods when I hoped somebody would come by. I like places with a limited, focused menu. Mamnoon is one such place and I enjoyed the food and the experience.

Warning! Over-indulgence a distinct possibility at Mamnoon. It happens. It happens because the menu, though limited, offers such a deeply intense collection of Levantine delights that it’s hard to say no to the hospitable help eager to help you exceed your expectations.Warning #2. Beware the ‘small plates’ – a true misnomer here. The ‘small plate’ helpings heap high here, from the frisson of fried cauliflowe, to the bounteous beet salad, to the olive-oil infused creamy hummus, to the deftly prepared dolmas.Warning #3: In light of Warning #2 – do NOT succumb to extra helping of the house-made flat bread, fresh from the grill – and made within eyesight of your table. You will want to…especially since the bread, pipping hot, taunts you cruelly from the basket adjacent to the herb-infused olive oil.Warning #4: Unless you suffer from gluttony, or enjoy left-overs, beware ordering numerous small plates, eating the bread, AND then ordering one of the tempting entrees, especially the grilled lamb or turlu (braised vegies w/ Armenian rice in a phyllo crust.)Too much of a good thing…Mamnoon will haunt you. binnotes.com

This could quite possibly my new favorite restaurant in Seattle. It is that good. The interior is very modern and trendy making it feel like you are in NYC. We had a great server who made wonderful recommendations and even scored us some fries even though they were supposed to only be for lunch/walk up. The food is out of this world. I got the vegetarian entree with curry and it was packed with great flavors. This is a great restaurant for a fun date night. It is definitely not cheap but it is definitely worth it.
