Best meal in Seattle so far. Saw the rave reviews on the chicken plate, but went for the combo for variety. Man I should have listened to the review. The chicken is outstanding! The other two offerings on the platter were also very good, but the chicken is where it’s at. Comes with very good rice and hummus, pita and your choice of soup or salad for about $11 with tax. Lentil soup had lemon and rice and was delicious. An excellent and filling meal. Cute, friendly Kelsey took our order and let us hang out for a minute after closing to search for a hotel. Would definitely return here.
Delicious chicken kabob!!!. Delicious and juicy chicken!! The closest to authentic mediterranean food u can find!! Very filling and good price. Definitely coming back:)
Mediterranean Express. Great! Stayed near by while visiting. Ate there the 1st night and had to go back again before I left. Try the Zahra(fried cauliflower) excellent and filling.

Try the Vegetarian Platter. I’m not a vegetarian, but I love the vegetarian platter at this casual restaurant. The falafel, grape leaves, hummus, and baba ghanuje are all excellent and they are served with rice, pita, and soup or salad.The price is good, the service is friendly and prompt, and the room has large widows that let it plenty of light and give a view of the passing Capitol Hill scene.
A Must… Mediterranean Express simply makes the very best Shish Taouk (chicken kabob) in Seattle.. perhaps in the world.. I suspect the rest of their menu is equally excellent but unfortunately I’ve never tried it as the Shish Taouk is SO good that I can never convince myself to order anything else.. Add to that an excellent and friendly staff and entrees <$10 .. and you got a winner.. Not fancy.. just delicious.
Great food, friendly staff. I recently rediscovered this place. I love it because it is closest to the Turkish restaurant I went to weekly when I lived in the Netherlands. I missed my doner, kofte, shawarma, etc until I discovered this place. Usually get the combo plate. The only thing I wish they would change is their brand of pita bread. I find it too dry. Our organization used this restaurant for our retreat today and that was fabulous, having a large selection to chose from. And I have leftovers!
