Stumbled upon it looking for a Starbucks and SO happy we did!! Probably the best coffee we’ve had in Seattle. Hidden gem. Very smooth, and not that burned flavor. Perfect to the palate.
Funny place. Situated in a few square feet among the retail stores, but this coffee is fantastic, and you will always find a very literate, engaging huddle of people out in front. Fun place to stop for a moment, sip some excellent cappuccino, and catch a snippet of interesting conversation.
A-MAZING!. You have probably walked past this place 398720 times. Until you work downtown or actively seek a coffee shop that is not Starbucks or a chain, will you find this gem. Kostas, the owner, makes fabulous coffee (shots are never burned or killed from sitting too long after being pulled) and steams his milk perfectly all while holding a genuine conversation with you. The one (minor) downfall of this place is that they do not accept credit cards, which means you must always have cash on hand if you want to visit Monorail. Please look for this little walk up window between Banana Republic and H&M on Pike Street…I GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed!!!
