Gotta love Neighbours. Seattle’s oldest LGBTQ club (for over 30 years) is a reliable place to go dancing. It’s a huge east coast style dance floor, with an upper level where you can be a voyeur or be voyeured upon, and (depending on the night) watch barely clad men and women dancers do their thing on the podiums. Thursday night is more of their old-school night as it’s a mix of 80’s – 2000’s. The weekend is pretty standard house/trap/EDM, and after they’ve blasted out last call 10 times in about 50 minutes (not even kidding), it becomes an after hours club and 18+ is welcome. What I like about Neighbors is that most times you can find space on the floor to get your groove on without bumping into people left and right, which is a lot to be said about a dance club in Capitol Hill. What I don’t like is that it can be very meat markety, and some peeps who can be downright aggressive in their attempts. There is plenty of security though, so that’s a good thing. Also, cover is usually only $3-5
