Terrible. This was the worst experience with Indian food I’ve ever had. I got a two-item combo, with chicken tikka masala and paneer masala. The sauce had ZERO flavor – nothing. No spices, no heat, also very watery. The rice was bland, and the naan was dry, undercooked, and flavorless.I took a couple of bites of each and gave up and threw the rest away and found something else better.Note: they used to have a location further up 2nd Avenue that was very good, so I had an expectation of reasonable quality and authentic cuisine. Instead I got (literally) watered down and americanized crap. Pabla – if you’re reading this, feel free to comment about changes your planning to make to improve quality, otherwise I won’t be back.
Pabla Punjabi BAD Service. I have been going to this restaurant for several years. I was good, the male server was always polite, and the food was ok. As of the past 6 months, the young woman that serves is very nasty, never smiles, and just slops your food on the to go box. The Sag Paneer was always my favorite, however lately, they have been preparing it with very little paneer and the spinach is little water. Today was my final time to go there. I order a two item combo #1, she slopped everything together, and the rice had lumps in it. The rice didn’t seem fresh. They need to fire her and bring in someone with some personality. She is not a pleasant face to present to the public that pays her wage. I will not recommend this to anyone in the future.
