On a cold night, determined not to give into the temptation of ordering in, I was looking for nearby options. While exploring the neighbourhood over a stroll entered the mall & reached out to the top floor to discover Palomino.Due to a private event, a section of the restaurant was reserved & not accessible. However we were seated in the wide & open bar area.We quickly placed our drinks & dinner order from the happy hours menu.We ordered Matchstick Truffle Fries, & a Fresh Romano tomatoes & mozzarella pizza with an extra topping of rotisserie chicken. Our order arrived quickly, the truffle fries were simply awesome, in fact the best I had in Seattle so far.Loved the pizza which has a very generous helping of the tomatoes, & the chicken was great but limited. The flavour was mild & strong at the same time, was too heavy for two people. They had a huge offering on mains, it will take a couple more visits to do justice & explore their vast menu. Service was very attentive & fast, considering they catering to a large private event the same night. With more cold nights expected, we are definitely going to visit nearby options like Palomino, more.
Sadly, this chain has started to disappear over the years. Once omnipresent throughout the United States, there are few locations left.Perhaps the best bloody mary in the country.Spaghetti Bolognese is my go to dish.Good wine selection.
Mediocre food, outlandish prices, and unacceptably slow service on the drinks. Friendly waitress and the good company I was with were the only parts that made it bearable.
Happy hour! Excellent craft cocktails and happy hour menu. Loved the hummus, cauliflower, and pumping seed pesto dishes. Loved this place. And soooo close to the Sheraton! merlotmommy.com
Great place to eat some Italian delicacies. We tried the pizza and the nero pasta with scallops. Both were really good. Service was good too! Had the tiramisu for dessert, also really good! azevedofoodie.com
Excellent service and a terrific atmosphere. Sampled many items with the highlights being the caesar salad, blue cheese salad and Brussels sprouts with pancetta and vanilla butter. Our entres, risotto and the ribeye steak, we’re of decent quality and preparation.
Great pre-show meal.. My mom, sister and I headed into Palomino before a show at the Paramount. We had excellent service. Our waiter made great recommendations, took time to understand what my family might like and nailed the recommendations. The food was excellent! The drinks were amazing (highly recommend the blueberry smash!). My go-to at Palomino is the asiago-almond crusted scallops and they are amazing. The bill was expensive, but we were happy to pay it with the service and food we received
