Get here early.. I hate that they don’t take reservations and if you are not there right at 5 there is a good chance you will have to wait. There are not very many tables and it is romantic without being stuffy. We have taken our 2 year old here twice and we have always felt comfortable. Always good service and great food for a very reasonable price. One of my favorite restaurants in the city but good luck finding a place to park.

Great Place. Had to wait a little bit but it was totally worth it. The food was well priced well and was great tasting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in the capitol hill area.
I read review after review about hour long waits, so I guess we lucked out because we only had to wait about ten minutes for a table. I understand why there is often a wait though, the dining room is small and only has about 13 tables. The service was great, our waitress was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and there was a good amount of food for a reasonable price. Definitely try this little gem out.

User reviews. As an avid fan of italian food and a date hunkering for a night out in Seattle we decided to try this place and now i can’t stop telling people about that night and i am pretty sure the food had something to do with it. i had the veal picatta which was smothered in lemon and capers, and he had the special of the night, and to even add more of a romantic flare, the basic water you get when you sit down are in bottles just shy of looking like wine bottles. its a small place but it adds to the quaintness and intamacy of the atmosphere i found so inviting. price seemed pretty comparable to other caf’s around the area, it is completely worth the wait to sit and price of the meal. also right by it is a place with killer milkshakes!
