Good food and service. Convenient to have it in the hotel we stayed at. They are somewhat over-priced in my opinion but the food is well served and seasoned. We had the ribeyes and lamb chops. The meat was overdone for what we requested. The sides: lobster Mac n cheese, shoestring fries and brussel sprouts were good. Overall, a good experience but there are better places (Metropolitan Grill).
Best restaurant in Seattle! It’s worth the money and the quality! Amazing service! Try their classic New York Strip! Their famous bbq shrimp, caesar salad, and mashed potatoes are to die for!
Rediculous wait times – why have a reservation if they make you wait an hour? Then they act like they are doing you a favor. If it had been up to me I would have left. Many more places with better service
Always good, always expensive.. Ruth’s Chris is probably one of the best steakhouses in the US… but you pay for it. Don’t expect to get out for less than $100 on the very LOW side for two people – $150 or more is likely. Everything is a-la-carte, even the sauces. However they have never, ever disappointed. It’s rare that I can justify spending more than $18-$24 on a steak (cause I can do it better at home on the BBQ), but Ruth’s is an exception to that. The food is great, comes out SUPER hot (so you can take your time and it stays warm – careful of the plates!) and the service is impeccable. They keep an eye on you, but they do not ‘hover’ or constantly interrupt you. Parking can be a little tough, but the hotel next door will valet park you (make sure you mention it to the staff as I believe you get a discount if validated).
Twice in one week. Recently spending a week straight in Seattle, we started the week having dinner at Ruth’s Chris. We had a filet, sweet potato cassarole, asparagus and topped the dinner with chocolate ice cream and cappuccinos. The filet was so tender and well prepared and the best way to describe it was meat butter. The asparagus lightly cooked and served with Hollandaise. The sweet potato cassarole reminded me of a pie and a fabulous sweet note to the meal. On the last day of our stay, we had Brunch. Again, I had the filet, this time with over medium eggs and fruit. A satisfying overall experience on both occasions. Teresa Potter
One of the best restaurants in town!. I fell in love with Ruth’s Chris after gazing at their interior design. It’s a great place to wine an dine at. I always get the three course meal for $39.95 per person. Their stuffed chicken is to die for and the service is amazing. Highly recommended.
