My partner wanted to eat scallops before we left Seattle so we made a booking here. Nice seeing, good service from attentive staff. The bread was excellent. Our mai ns were a mixed bag though. Her scallops were excellent, well cooked and tasted beautiful, but the rest of the plate was very disappointing. Not sure what the fried pork belly was meant to add to the dish but it’s had no real flavor to contribute. The black lentils had some flavor but not one that matched the scallops. My Alaskan black coffee was also excellent, moist and tender with great flavor. But again the rest of the plate struggled to match the fish. The herbed potatoes were ok but the pan cooked broccoli was poorly done no where near al dente and no taste. The only side we ordered was seared asparagus which was also. disappointing. – overcooked and under seasoned

Bar service is great. The seafood is amazing, including the oysters which are exquisite. Easy to find on the street, but a bit hard to find the door as it is inside the Fairmont Hotel.

Staying at the W so walked next door and had dinner last night. Excellent service and fish cooked to perfection. Liked it so much we did lunch there with an associate. Everyone thought their selection was top notch.

Coming from the East coast this is my favorite seafood place in the Seattle downtown area! The oysters are sweet and delicious and the salmon with the heirloom tomatoes and peaches are melt in your mouth. The waitstaff is wonderfully attentive also. There is no comparison I’ve had in the area. Excellent experience.

Can you keep a secret? The best seafood restaurant in Seattle period:This has been a lifetime restaurant of our life, really.Once a clothing store, made in to a cafe in the Olympic Four seasons hotel on second avenue in SeattleEverything on the menu is a 10, we have always started out with Oysters, then Geoduck stew, the bartenders are top notch, so a classic martini is in order.Bucket List.

Located in the Fairmont Olympic, we checked out Shuckers during our stay last August. We were hoping to try some fresh seafood during our stay in Seattle. Our server was accommodating although we felt a bit under dressed. The restaurant itself feels very swanky. It also wasn’t busy at all which worried us. However our food was delicious. My boyfriend ordered a seafood pasta and I went with a half dozen of oysters. I liked that I got to pick and choose which oysters I got. They were very delicious! We also got to try local IPAs which went nicely with the food. A little bit pricey but well worth it. I’d say it’s worth checking out especially if you like seafood and/or if you’re staying at the hotel.
