Fellow travelers urged us to dine at this, their favorite restaurant in Seattle. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing- the fish and chips were good, just good. And too expensive. My chips – large potato fries- were splayed like large fingers on the plate, unappetizing and a bit soggy. Service was efficient but aloof. This place might be historically a highlight in this city, but they might be resting on their laurels.
