Terra Plata is really cute and quaint. Was easily walkable from our hotel. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the chips which was really delicious! And the grits which was also as delicious. Must try the manchego biscuits absolutely delicious. Especially with the grits. They convinced us to have the churros so we got the churros and it was a good decision although we were very full! The customer service was amazing as well.
Yum! This dinner is a splurge but the amazing roof top patio and fantastic selection of local fare are worth the price on special occasions. Skip the fries and go for more eclectic choices. When we were there we had roasted grapes, radishes with two kinds of butter, and the delicious roasted pork.
We decided to share the shishito peppers and the halibut and heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad. We topped it off with the churros for dessert! I enjoyed their campari cocktail and Curtis happily drank his Rachels Ginger Beer. This meal ended our great weekend in Seattle and after a day spent at DirtFish I was ready to dive into a plate of delicious food. We were not disappointed from the food to the excellent service. Cant wait to return! alifewellconsumed.com
I didn’t even know Terra Plata existed. I guess, I’m somewhat out of the Capitol Hill scene, but I was so glad I got to try it out with my family. The place has a great vibe and interior is decorated with beautiful wood accents.Everything in their current menu is delicious. There were a few of us, so I had the chance to taste multiple dishes. I was not disappointed with the food quality. However, the wait staff could make some improvements to their customer service. It wasn’t horrible, so I would definitely be stopping by again.
After several recommendations we finally got around to trying Terra Plata. The food menu had interesting combinations like warm roasted grapes, olives and nuts (yum), bison burgers and fusion foods. I would suggest ordering several small plates, which are served family-style and trying a little bit of everything. The food was great but the vibe on the rooftop patio was the piece de resistance!
There with three friends on a beautiful June day. We ate in the dining room with all the doors and windows open to the soft June breeze. Our service was fast and efficient. We had lots to talk about and our waitress had the prefect level of attentiveness and deference to our chatting. I had the salad nicoise, which was the best I’ve ever had. Tuna was perfectly cooked and flavored ahi with tender greens, green olives and a light, tangy dressing. I even drank a house -made soda that was light and refreshing. I’ve always loved Terra Plata, but this was the best lunch yet.
I love Terra Plata. For starters, it is a beautiful space. The first floor is rustic, sunlit and airy and is a perfect setting for the delicious brunches they serve up every weekend. Each dish tastes as amazing as it looks. The ingredients are seasonal and local and the menu caters to both savory and sweet palates. Definitely worth a visit.
