One of the better bar menu’s in a part of town that has a lot great ones. The burger is handful, great flavor, well cooked, and the truffle fries are fantastic. Really good lamb chops, the spinach salad is a winner, and if you have room, the coconut cream pie is something else. Service is exceptional, and if you can, get a seat at the bar, as the bartenders are polite, professional, and know how to mix a proper drink.
Capital grill. Good service. Good food. Expensive. Too expensive for a chain.
Mixed Grill. This was my annual outing where I shock my stomach with steak and my wallet with the accompanying price. The Capital Grille’s prices are on a par with their downtown competitors (e.g. Metropolitan Grill) and the food was fine–meaning my expectations are elevated when I visit a high-end steak house and I wasn’t wowed. The service was excellent–although the restaurant was only half full.
