Lamb curry is great. You do get about 4 massive cuts of lamb in the entree, in reality they should cut it up more so it can absorb more of the spices. The curry is the best I’ve found in Vancouver. It is a bit spendy. So on a Friday night, with a redbox eating a $20 takeaway to myself, it’s a treat for sure ! 🙂
We’ve gone 4 times. Here’s the scoop (because there are mixed messages in these reviews): it’s great at dinner. When you order medium heat, it is beautifully balanced and intensely flavored, perfect heat and better than anything in Portland metro or Clark Cty. The Chana Masala is perfect. They offer some dishes you are unlikely to see elsewhere in this area. However, if you choose to get a deal *with the masses* at lunch, there’s nothing wrong with that, we all love a good Indian buffet, but you should probably get real with yourself and expect the food to be toned down enough *for the masses*. If they would avoid toning it down too much, I’d have given them a 4.5 easily. For additional perspective, I rarely bother to review restaurants and I went out of my way to do so now.
