Really like the fact that you can get a dinner bento box here. The food was very good, pleasantly surprising. The interior is just the right mix of classy elegance and kitschy Asian bric a brac. Recommended, would definitely visit again.
Excellent place. Great menu and service. Consistently good food, never had a bad dish here. Both sushi and Chinese menu are worth checking out.
This is hands down my favorite sushi place near the Vancouver area. The pieces are usually really big too, and quality meat. I love the hawaain and spicy tuna hand rolls the best. It is more expensive than like sushi world etc, but way better sushi! They also have really good asian hit dishes too, both Chinese and Japanese, which seems strange to me to have a restaurant do well at both, but they pull it off!
Not worth the price. The BSC sushi roll was so fishy you could smell it when they put it on the table. Pu pu plater ok. Crab puffs need more puff. The tempur shrimp on the plater was the best part of the whole meal. I won’t go back.
Great food and friendly staff. Willing to customize sushi rolls for dietary needs. Sit at the sushi bar and watch it be made fresh in front of your watering mouth. Sushi is awesome but the rest of the menu is so so. Beware the curry vegggies…..
Busy, crowded, but decent food. This is one of the better Asian food restaurants on the east side of Vancouver, WA, and the quality of the food is good enough to bring out of town guests. Service is a little lacking, especially during the holidays or the lunch hour, and it seems that they are short staffed.Short on time during the workday? Call your order ahead or order online for pick-up or dine-in.Sushi: raw cuts are thin and small, don’t be expecting to actually get full on this.Soup: if your lunch/dinner special or entree comes with a choice of soup, try the hot and sour soup.Noodles: the udon noodles are usually a good gauge if the Japanese food is authentic, especially if these noodles are handmade and the broth it’s served with actually tastes hearty and good.If you (or your guests) don’t know how to order Asian food, keep to the menu specials and you’ll be fine.
Go to Eastland for the sushi. My favorite appetizer is the veggie spring rolls. Their sesame chicken is sweet and perfectly crisp. The best dessert: tempura ice cream; I swear, sometimes I have dreams about it! We go sometimes just for dessert.
