Wonderful breakfasts! Home fries! Monte Cristo! And if what you want is not on the menu, they will make it if they can…like a chili, cheese, and onion omelette, my husband’s favorite. Amazing staff!
A great place to eat a traditional farmers / loggers hearty, big plate breakfast that will stick to your ribs and get you through the day. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious and beats frozen concentrated juice any day .
Mashed potatoes weren’t done. Meatloaf was greasy. Typical diner food.
Stardust Diner. I’m a sucker for real, traditional diners. There’s many across this country aspiring to be good, there are some that ARE good and there are some that are just plain fun. Stardust falls into the latter two categories. As a party of 5 adults and one child, we were amazingly quickly sat on a Sunday morning. Our orders were taken and delivered properly. As busy as the place was, no patron seemed to be overlooked nor staff member frazzled. I comment this crew as the average age was probably barely over 23 and they all acted professionally.Mom and I both ordered corned beef hash and Picky Eater Son ordered Sausage gravy and biscuits. Eggs were cooked properly on every plate, bread was toasted to a nice crunch without being overdone. Hash browns were crunchy as we both asked for them as such and the corned beef was good.I hate comparing restaurants of different concepts, but I’ll say overall, the corned beef hash at Shari’s is superior to that at Stardust. However, in Stardust’s defense, their’s probably didn’t cost as much as Shari’s either. All in all, it was a good meal and I’d recommend the place to anyone else. I’d like to be able to go back again and try another meal. I will do so when I’m back on that side of the Cascades.
50’s Diner w/Amazing food, better than Shari’s and cheaper. Great people & the potatoes rock! Had the meat lovers omelette was awesome. Ask for JD if he’s working, he’s super everything!
I love the atmosphere! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and tots! The bacon was cooked crispy just the way I like it. My mil had the patty melt and she said it was one of the best she had ever had. Perfect place for lunch! waitress was also very pleasant.
Just so so. Not bad but not great. Atmosphere and service was great. My cute date had a spinach and mushroom omelet and the spinach was either frozen or canned. I had the hillbilly Benedict and it was great. Menu was lacking those signature dishes that make a diner great. This place could kill it with new management.
