1st and last visit. If customer service is what you expect when visiting this store don’t bother going. Yesterday was the first and last time I will ever visit a Ben and Jerry’s.Initially we were greeted and served in an acceptable manner but when it came time for paying it was a different story. We were served and then I stepped to the cash register to pay. Our server had taken his gloves off to ring us up and then suddenly changed his mind and decided to help another customer.I was left standing at the cash register. More customers came in and I was forced to step back from the single cash register further. I caught the attention of a second server and told him I would like to pay and he said only the one who helped me could ring me up. Meanwhile our server had decided to help a 3rd customer, the second server was busy ringing up customers who had come in after us.Feeling ignored I deposited my cone on the counter and left. My wife stayed to pay and was charged for both cones ($3 dollars each by the way for a single scoop). The original server never did go back to the cash register. The second one asked and got the password from the first in order to complete the transaction.If this is the way employee’s are trained at this establishment then management is definitely lacking. I would consider this a black eye for all of Ben and Jerry’s.Incidentally, I am 60 years old and have never felt like I needed to write a review…until now.Geoff S.
