Sadly the new location is substandard. Tiny tables with no room for food. Uncomfortable chairs. I ordered coffee after dinner and the server brought a thermos to the table, poured the last few drops in my cup (cup was less than half full) and never returned. Steak was served horribly well done. We wont return.
Very enjoyable evening. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here with our grandson, who is visiting. The staff were very friendly, and we had great service. The food was excellent….my wife’s trout superb. My Thai mussels were very good, but a bit undercooked, as many of the mussel shells I had to pry open. The waitress was quick to provide complimentary deserts, and we left knowing we would return, when we wanted to be pampered.
Very disappointing. I can’t believe anyone finds this place romantic. The restaurant is LOUD and uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The food was top-notch and the service was very good so I may try again on a week night. This Saturday night, however, it was unpleasant to dine there because of the noise level and the poor ventilation. The restaurant needs to soften the acoustics, add some sound barriers between tables, and improve the air flow. The experience of dining with food this delicious should not be ruined by the inability to have a conversation at the table. Great food. Terrible ambiance.
