The fresh and homemade food and service is exceptional here. We moved here last year and have made Ikonos a weekly stop. The chicken is delicious and my husband love the Gyros. The hummus is also a household favorite. The staff here is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make your experience exceptional. Love, love this great family owned gem!
The food is incredible and the people that work there are amazing! We recently moved to the area and got an ad for this restaurant. My boyfriend and I were excited because we love Mediterranean food, and it’s hard to find good Greek! We went to go try it out this morning and WOW! When we got there we let them know it was our first time and without missing a beat they excitedly told us about some of their top recommendations. We decided to try the traditional gyro and we were not let down!! The balance of flavor and texture is perfect and leaves you ready for another bite. It was very rich but not overwhelming at all and the tzatziki sauce was perfect! It wasn’t only the food though, the people that work there are a pleasure. They clearly really care about the business and value their customers. It was nice to see so much care in everything they did. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great place. Nice atmosphere. Friendly friendly staff. Made sure every thing was to satisfaction. Left very happy and very full! Gyros were excellent. Meat seasoned perfectly and tzatziki sauce was superb.
Update: food quality has dropped i believe because of new ownership. Falafel tasted like it was a packet mix, long wait for food and very unfriendly owner who did not want to answer any questions regarding the previous menu. I will go elsewhere for gyros from now on. Good food. Yummy gyros, the dolmade, hommus and other sides I tried are good too. problem is so many times I’ve stopped with a gyro craving to find they are closed. would be nice if they were open regular dinner hours on busy dining days like Fridays and Saturdays !!
Clean, friendly service. Spanokopita was decent, but Gyro was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It looked visually appealing, but had almost no meat in it, the meat was dry, and the Sauce was bland. I’ve eaten here three times, each visit hoping to stave my craving for good Greek food in the Tacoma area, and each visit walking away dissatisfied. I won’t go back.
