Love it. I have been to this place countless times. The service in the bar area is pretty great. The food is where this place shines. I get the Mediterranean lamb burger almost every time and I am never disappointed. Definitely a place to head to before a night out.
Meal was very good but avoid this place on busy weekends. Very loud, very hot, and very dirty. I had to ask for napkins to wipe off the table and seats.
Worth the drive!. I’m a huge burger fan and this is one of the few burger joints that I will drive from Silverdale to Gig Harbor for and I do so often… 45 minutes just to have a great burger may seem crazy to some, but they haven’t been to Blazing Onion is my guess. I’ve only sat in the bar and not being one who likes the ‘family’ crowd, I appreciate that there is such a separation of environments. The servers are fantastic, attentive and apologetic when things are slow or wrong… which is rare. I’ve never had a bad experience here and highly recommend to everyone I know… and even those I don’t. If you are a burger lover — especially a juicy burger that you can only dream of… a burger that comes in every variety you can think of, any size you can wrap your mouth around…… oh yeah… and chocolate cake that will take you 3 days to devour, but will be worth it. Don’t miss this place…. it will keep you coming back for more, wishing you had come sooner.
Love it! Highly Recommend. We go to the Blazing Onion atleast once a month. You will have excellent service if you use the RED STOP SIGNS at your table and place them in the holder. They are designed to let the waiter know you are ready for service or need something. I haven’t had to wait any more than a minute, ever. The burgers are some of the best in the area. The fries are really good and bottomless! Ask for the BOB sauce for your fries. Prices are more than reasonable for what they provide.
OverRated, OverPriced. Visited several times, the sort of place that continues in business because they are in a high traffic-high spending location, and most people equate atmosphere+appearance with quality of food. Waste of time and money. And if the food wasn’t reason enough to avoid, the service assures the decision.
Solid place for a quality burger. The menu contains a wide variety of interesting and creative burgers, each of which is pleasantly smokey from the char broiler. The service is relatively prompt for such a bustling restaurant; it always seems to have a good crowd going. I would recommend the bleu cheese burger, a classic combo done right at the Blazing Onion. Really need a ground meat fix? Make it a double or a triple for a modest fee. Overall a fun and casual environment that suits a wide range of demographics.
