CASA PATRON. To Former Jalisco-in-Ravenna customers which sadly closed earlier this year: Please check out Casa Patron, same family, same good food plus other new dishes. If there was something you loved at Jalisco and it’s not on Casa Patron’s menu, just ask and they can probably make it for you. Ceviche is delicious. Located next to Scarlet Tree on NE 65th St, near freeway.
Amazing. Just brilliant. Do not think this is greasy Mexican food. It’s more central American. Healthy and amazing NEW flavors for your bored taste buds.
Great!. Fresh salsa – delicious! Margarita, ceviche, and spinach enchilada with rice and beans – delicious! Glad to have found this place.
Best Tamale EVER!. This place is killer. Our server was great, the atmosphere was a little off (club-ish mexican restaurant??) but the food beyond made up for any of that!…. They’re not afraid to serve real, authentic, spicy food to us white folks. Totally worth any drive to go here, I can’t get over how tasty the food I just ate was!
Great find!. I was going to Whole Foods last Saturday and stopped here for lunch. Awesome food, I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and tried my friend’s Cuban roast pork. Amazing! Spicy chicken sandwich was served on a tender brioche roll with spicy, tender meat, crisp lettuce, perfect tomato, and a wonderful spicy garlic aioli. Great combo and just what I needed to brave the crowds (and prices) at Whole Foods. Can’t wait to go back and have dinner!
Friendly staff & decent food. This place will be great in the cooler months – they have a fireplace and two winding staircases. Nice decor. We ate at the (small, too bright) bar area. Margaritas were fine, homemade salsa was delicious with addition of red cabbage. Staff and owner were very friendly.I definitely recommend this place as a decent to above-average place for fajitas and margaritas. Not a destination restaurant, though.
Sorry, darn IPhone…we just ate here for the first time….09 Aug, 2010Just agendas for the first time. Beautifully done. The margareta was perfect. We had a wonderful shrimp chevche, jicama salad, and a puerto rican pork dish. We were impressed with them all. The staff was very attentive. We were hoping for a good Mexican place in the neighborhood, and we got it! We’ll be revisiting often.
