Been here many times with my sons and friends. Good Italian fare. Today, stopped by for a bite while waiting for a haircut and they had only one server for the entire restaurant and bar.This harried young woman spent a lot of time apologizing about how long it would be. After I sat there for 10 minutes the table next to me said that they had been waiting for 20 minutes.How does this happen?
The service was good, and they had local Georgetown brews on tap. I had their signature morel spaghetti and meatballs, and it was subtle and delicious.
Both Lucia locations have great food and great atmosphere so I’m not sure why they don’t get more love. We have also had great service at both locations. Green Lake has a great patio which is good for kids because there is space where they can play towards the back away from the street. The kale Caesar salad is a favorite as well as the pesto sauce. I will say I do think it is more than a little overpriced and that is what has kept us from coming back more. Other that that no complaints!
Had a tasty breakfast on Boxing Day. This is a lovely space with good food and good service. Looking forward to trying dinner here as their Eastside restaurant has a very good reputation.
Great addition to Greenlake!. I have been 3 times now and each experience was wonderful – twice with girlfriends and once with my husband. The food is fantastic, the service friendly and attentive. I really like the atmosphere, too. I highly recommend it – you won’t be sorry!
Really nice atmosphere. Quot enough that the six people could talk. Great food. Would come back again for sure.
Disappointing. The restaurant is so loud with cranked-up music and bare surfaces that you cannot easily hear your dining partner. The food is nicely presented but mediocre in taste. Nothing special. The service–all very young and inexperienced servers–is a little amateur. Most of the personnel were nice but one young woman at the reception station was haughty when we asked to sit inside on an evening that was chilling quickly. (She rolled her eyes.) We were excited to try another neighborhood option for Friday night dinner out, but we will probably not return.
