I am so happy to have Sod House Bakery in the neighborhood. Their scone are buttery and yummy. Just what you want with a vanilla latte. They often sell out of their baked goods on the weekend – don’t miss out!
After months of businesses opening and closing on 65th in Ravenna, the community is finally relieved to have a staple. A place to call its own. To frequent and be proud of. Enter Sod House Bakery. From their selection of pastries that emphasize craftsmanship and local/sustainable ingredients, the Cardamom Blueberry Buttercake is outstanding. Perfectly balanced ingredients, spongy and moist, and not too sweet. Earlier in their season, the glistening of their freshly baked challah enticed me to buy a loaf that ended up missing this breads characteristic, eggy wholesomeness by a hair. But, when in doubt, one of their croissants will not disappoint! Hits that classic pastry shatter on the outside and inside, its light in texture, but heavy in butter oomph. Any one of those paired with their solid espresso drinks or cold brew and youve just started your day off on the right foot.
