I really wanted to like Thai Ocean because it is really close to my house. The inside is outdated and stuffy and isn’t inviting like many other places around the lake. The food isn’t bad it is just very average. With lots of Thai options in town this isn’t on my list to try again. I think their location hurts them.

Safe for Celiacs!. I’ve been here several times without issue. The owner actually knows what gluten is and makes sure they do not use soy sauce and that the chef uses a clean pan to stir fry.The last time I was there, another guest had a corn & soy allergy that was also able to be accommodated. It’s nice to know there are places that can handle food allergies!
Be coming here for years…. And I moved out of the neighborhood for five years, walked back in a few weeks ago and the owner still remembered me – which was amazing. Thai Ocean is like your gramma’s kitchen – great home-cooked comfort food with a sweet atmosphere.
