While I was out and about in Seattle a few weeks ago… and when it was hot for that matter outside I wanted something that was light to eat. Heartbeet (Thrive) was very close to where I was and a salad sounded amazing and so I ducked in here for a bite to eat.I ordered the Hungry No More salad was made up of chopped basil, spinach, mixed greens, Lemon Tahini Dressing, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers and marinated kale. The salad was very good so no complaints there at all and they got my order to me quickly! There was a little bit of a downside to my meal here. There were a number of tables that were not wiped down at all from prior customers. Sometimes places get slammed and they are trying to recollect themselves, I know that. However I tended to overlook less when I wanted water to drink and they had a big water facility in the dining area. It looked nice and cold… just what I wanted! The glasses near the tank though were all diminished to one and the last drinking glass was very dirty. It had a big piece of food stuck to the inside of the glass. Yeek! I tried to ask for another glass but it was difficult to get anyone’s attention since they seemed preoccupied with food prep tasks. There was a nearby coffee shop I was meaning to try as well and decided to get my drinks there.
Don’t try it. Horrible smoothies for 10$….
Just okay. My dish needed salt or something to enhance the flavor. Chocolate smoothie was good. Gave me some ideas to try with quinoa. Atmosphere is a bit stark and blenders are loud.
Love this place but pass on the Chia Bowl!. Love the smoothies & juices here… and the desserts are to die for! Love the shop with the superfoods & bulk items! Most everything is awesome & a sure thing… EXCEPT for the breakfast chia bowl- horrible waste of money– 10 bucks! I make chia bowls at home & this was a bowl of dissappointment. IF you need a chia bowl to go, I would suggest Chaco canyon for half the price & much better!
Yum!. Thrive is really unique in that it offers gluten-free, raw, fresh, delicious foods at a pretty affordable price. And now, they’ve changed the menu so that you can order half a bowl if you only want a small portion! Keeps costs lower and prevents waste. I appreciate that! The food is really spectacular – I have to give most of the credit to the freshness of the good food itself, but the raw chefs are amazing. Really tasty food. Highly recommended.
