Ordered carry out, got home to discover the crust was very doughy and under done. The little we ate had to be put in the oven before we were willing to eat it. We called the restaurant and the manager was unwilling to come to the phone and there was no resolution. I ordered the carry out, because I didn’t have time to cook and clean up. That being said, it defeated the purpose. The product was very unsatisfactory. The good news is there are lots of other pizza places in Seattle, Romios, The Watershed and of course the beloved Pagliacci’s just to name a few.
The pizza cook had a terrible attitude and the worst customer service. After discussing ingredients due to my numerous allergies and ordering a vegan gluten free pizza I reslized I forgot to ask for no sauce. I sent my husband up to tell him the mistake he grabbed the started pizza and threw it really hard into the garbage can and grumbled and slammed thing around. He never turned around the whole time my husband talked to him. He then came out to explain the pizza would be all dry without the sauce. We suggested olive oil since that’s what I have to use for sauce due to a tomato allergy. The pizza came out with a burnt crust and literally half a piece of canadian bacon on each slice with some olives. There was no bacon and the waitress even double-checked my topping choices when ordering. The regular Hawaiian pizza we ordered had way more Canadian bacon on it. We felt nervous going back up to the counter to ask for the bacon but we paid $13 for the pizza, so we wanted what we paid for. The cook wouldn’t even acknowledge my husband and just called back for the kind waitress to talk to him. She brought out a serving of bacon and appologized for his attitude. I have to say we’ve never experienced such rudeness. I was excited for a vegan and gluten free pizza because there are few places that offer one. We probably would have been repeat customers, but won’t be back after our experience today.
