Fast, friendly service. Served our hungry family of eight easily. We liked the fresh fruit bowl, french toast and pancakes with pure maple syrup. Will definitely visit again.

Great, except for the seating. We love Four Spoons. Decent, straightforward food with real maple syrup. Fresh fruit bowl is, indeed, fresh. What we don’t like, however, is that, as a table of two, we are constantly asked to either wait for a small table to open up or take a seat right next to the bathroom (where you can smell the bleach because the door is always open) even when there are MULTIPLE four-tops available. I understand wanting to optimize seating, but the restaurant has never been full-up when we’ve gone. Never at any point during our various meals. It doesn’t make sense to seat the customers that you do have in the worst locations, just because they had the bad luck of not having a third party member join them. I haven’t seen this happen at any of the other breakfast restaurants I’ve been to in Seattle, so I’m not sure why the owner insists on it here.

Delicious breakfast. Delicious coffee here, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. We will definitely eat here again the next time we find ourselves in Ballard. They are closed Tues and Wed

Good food, good music, good people.. Went in early October. Had some great pumpkin pancakes and seasonal fruit salad. Drip coffee was good. Live music was playing all through breakfast. Service was great, even when the waitress accidentally knocked over my water. Chill atmosphere.
