Fantastic!. These folks know how to cook and they know how to treat their customers well! You’re always met with a friendly smile, the food is delicious, wholesome, and tasty, and it’s a light and airy atmosphere. Sit down, have a super cup of coffee in a big ol’ mug and enjoy. Only problem is it can get crowded so finding a table can be a challenge at certain times of the day, but people don’t mind sharing tables. I live in the neighborhood and I love it there!
Coffee & Community. Not only does the Green Bean make one of the best cups of coffee in all of Seattle but they also make most of their pastries, and all of their panini sandwiches and quiches fresh onsite daily. Folks are beginning to come in JUST to buy one of the giant and tasty cookies or a slice of quiche. In addition to all this the Green Bean is a non-profit coffee shop devoted to creating positive community and supporting the Greenwood community it’s a part of. They sponsor different non-profits each month, give a portion of their tips to whichever non-profit is up for the month and sell awesome bags and cards that are made by people all over the world. Finally, they also have all sorts of awesome things going on there all the time…Story Time- Tues, 10am; Support Group for Unemployed Professionals, Wed, 3pm, Open Mic, Wed, 7pm…and monthly meetings of the ONE campaign and more.
