We love Makeda for all the following reasons: 1st, the coffee is delicious because the flavor of the beans comes through unlike Starbucks where they taste bitter and burnt. The pastries are made by Macrina Bakery, so always scrumptious, and she has savory scones.The owner is a woman who is always there, which is a good thing to support. Dogs are allowed inside which is quirky and fun.Eileen
