Had this been any time prior to 2015, I would have rated this place a 2. Back in the day the food was sub par and the quality was getting worse year after year. But on a whim (and a coupon) I decided to give it one more chance, and I’m soooo glad I did. The restaurant came under new management, and hired a new cook, and this place did a complete 180. It was clear that every single ingredient in each dish was fresh, nothing frozen, no apparent use of MSG in anything. The flavours were bright and vibrant. I can say with some conviction that this is now the best Chinese restaurant north of the International District and I will most certainly be back.
