Love this place!. I have been here several times – many with out of town guests. We have always enjoyed the food. They get packed on the weekends and the service varies depending on how packed they are. I love the da bomb burrito and they make one of the best bloody marys in the city. I love the fact that they grow many of their herbs and seasonings in their back yard. I took my cousin from Texas here and he believes that their huevos rancheros holds its own to those found in TX. Enjoy this gem!

Gross and slimy. The coffee was bitter, burnt drip, greasy spoon style, which was surprising given this is Seattle. The scramble did not come with any veggies or flavour. I had to ask for the toast that was listed as included with the dish and they charged extra for it. The fruit cup was fermented and slimy. I wouldn’t call this vegan-friendly as much as vegan-tolerant, barely. I was not impressed with the food at all, but the ambiance was pleasant.

Breakfast. First time at the cafe thought the service and food was great. Will be going there soon .

Really Good Breakfast Spot. I don’t go very often to the Wild Mountain, because on weekend mornings it’s always packed and you have to wait forever for a table. And because the cafe is in an old, small house, there’s not much room for those who are waiting. On a cold morning you might find yourself standing outside, freezing, for an hour or more. The food is really good, though. Is it good enough to be worth that kind of a wait? Well, maybe twice a year I decide it is, and I go so that I can order what may very well be my favorite breakfast in Seattle – the Greta Garbo, which is a gluten-free eggs benedict made with potato cakes instead of an english muffin. This isn’t to say their other breakfast options aren’t good, too — they are — but I always end up going back to the Greta. The Wild Mountain also serves lunch and dinner, but in my opinion their breakfasts are what makes this place special.

Amazing food and ambience. I’ve been away from Seattle for six years now, living in the East Bay(suburbia)Ca and I constantly miss the Wild Mountain cafe–NO PLACE here compares to the wonderfulambience, and fantastic, amazing food (especially breakfasts) available there. If you want to expand, come down to Livermore, we need you!

Hip, Relaxed, Friendly, and Tasty. Wild Mountain is in a house perched above 85th St and combines an exceptionally welcoming attitude/ambiance with great food. When we arrived for lunch all tables were taken and it was easy to understand why by the end of our meal. The tortilla soup was spicy and flavorful whiloe the chicken salad sandwich on egg bread rounded out the soup and salad combo. One room at Wild Mountain is a full bar which allows you to bring kids to eat in a different room while still indulging your desires to imbibe. The waitstaff and owner couldn’t be nicer. A fine place to eat and hang.

A jewel in north Ballard. I love breakfast. I love bacon, eggs, and anything that fills the belly to the point that you smile. This place knocked it out of the park for me. We arrived and it was crowded (of course we arrived at prime breakfast time). I got nervous about the wait time, but a cheerful bohemian waitress told us it would only be a few minutes. We were shortly seated fairly close to another couple. The menu was filled with amazing dishes and old standards. What really got me excited was the prospect of the Bloody Mary! When I asked for one, I was asked if I would like it bacon flavored and do I like it spicy or mild. Um, wow. You had me at bacon flavored. The food was amazing too. I honesty cannot remember what I ordered (although eggs benedict) sounds familiar but I will be back!
