Best Buffet ever. Now before most of get your panties in a bunch please wait for me to explain. I understand what a buffet is ~It’s just food. Picky eaters need not apply. The variety here is the best I’ve ever seen. In addition to your standard Chinese dishes, you get grilled variety of meats, sushi, & Mongolian grill. Desert bar is huge too. Great for just over 10 bucks…
Worst of China. The fryer oil hasn’t been changed since the Ming Dynasty. Bow tie cookies which should taste like: won ton skins, oil, sesame and honey taste like God only knows. The food is really terrible at this buffet. Sadly, the staff looks Chinese. I love Chinese food but only ate half my plate because I was scared (literally) to finish eating. No joke, the food at Best of China Buffet is SCARY!
Cold mediocre food…do NOT waste your money, you’ll regret it like we did
Luv it! Ive been going there since i was a kid. Food is soo good an you can get really full! Moneys worth also sushi is amazing
Go for the sushi. So, my 6YO loves this place. He can get whatever he wants, and not exactly a fancy diner. I’ve tried the buffet items, and they are really hit or miss. The chicken on a stick is horribly dry. The crab legs were so over-cooked, they bent. Not cracked. Bent like a wet noodle. But the sushi… so I can get freshly made right in front of me sushi, as much as I want, for under $10 for lunch? This works for me. And there are many kinds to try. I just load up my plate on that and crab rangoon, and I’m happy.
Eh… it was OK. It’s a good price and has a lot of options, but they’re all just kind of so-so. However, when my parents went there they both liked it, so maybe it was the time of day I went… but that really shouldn’t matter, should it?
Best value for money. Everyone knows you don’t go to a buffet for atmosphere. You go to eat a great deal of good food. This restaurant meets that expectation. After having visited this restaurant a handful of times, I know which entrees are worth eating and which I do not prefer. Mashed potatoes and gravy at a Chinese buffet? I suppose it’s alright to have that option for picky children (although if they’re that picky, aren’t the parents doing something wrong?), but for me, it is all about the sushi (freshly prepared), shrimp (several varieties), crab (take some of the clarified butter and squeeze some fresh lemon juice into it – perfect for dipping steamed crab), and black bean clams. These items will not disappoint, and an occasional potsticker, garlic green beans, or bowl of egg flower soup hits the spot, as well.In a nutshell, while not every item in the buffet is great, there are more than enough good items to make China Buffet a great value.
