I am never thrilled to eat at Chinese buffets. But my family’s diminished palates love the darned things. So while staying in downtown Spokane for an event on a Saturday night, with tons of options all within walking distance, my wife and gals chose….you guessed it….this place. Way too much food, nothing of distinction, and all the ice cream you can eat at the finish. If nothing else, places like this are always an interesting people watch. As usual, I bellied up three or four small-sized plates–all protein–and enjoyed a dessert of crab rangoons, crab rangoons, and more crab rangoons. I felt horrible the rest of the night, and woke up to a feeling of shame and dissatisfaction this morning. I feel so dirty writing this…
