A quick dinner a few days ago was our very first time here. And glad we came .. though it was just a chance that we happened to dine here.We were parked on the other side of road calculating whether to get a pizza at MOD or go back and eat at home.Since it was 6.45pm our dinner time was still an hour and half away .. so we casually crossed the road to peep in the Mexican joint and came here ..Somehow, walking through the doors and standing in the line .. the smell in itself was inviting and early dinner was on.Missus took a vegetarian enchilada plate (no meat) .. with 2 different sauces .. pinto beans .. The tortilla were fresh .. beans were fabulous .. and that sweet and sour sauce on one of them was out of this world.I found myself ordering a grilled chicken salad with cilantro lime vinaigrette.Ingredients were absolutely fresh, chicken grilled well .. quite a good salad. The ambiance and service were complementing the food as well .. great. All in all, very good food backed by a great service.PS – Kids meals .. also on the menu 🙂

Very, very disappointing. My family loves Mexican food and were looking forward to trying a new place. Not sure what all the hype is about – yes, things are fresh and the tortillas are made right in front of you BUT the amount of meats included in their burritos is a total joke. Would be fine if I wanted a rice and bean burrito only. Then, they send out a coupon to entice new business – but make it incredibly difficult to actually USE the coupon – very frustrating. No real help for first timers in picking what they want – just rushed through. Just an overall bad experience and we won’t be back. Happy to drive another mile up the road to a GOOD Mexican place – De Leon Foods.

Fresh and fast. I tried a burrito with chicken. The tortilla press is impressive (lol) and the rotating plancha looks like something I need in a smaller size at home! The chicken tasted fresh grilled, the lettuce and pico was bright and fresh too. The black beans are the way to go. I saw other orders being made with the shredded beef which is stored in a liquid and doesn’t look like you get much of it. I liked the chicken but for the price there is more value and more fun to hit up the taco trucks. There are two between here and work so may stick with those when en route north. Costa Vida is a great alternative to the mall restaurants however, and would run across the street during a shopping day.

Good food. … I’ve been here about a hundred times. . The sweet pork is the best thing there. .. The Daily specials are a great value for only $6… I usually get the small sweet pork salad, the sweet pork enchiladas or grilled steak/sweet pork nachos. The queso is great. I agree with most of the reviews, the people that work there sometimes make it perfectly, however it seems like there is a gap in knowledge with other employees and they will add way too much of one item or not enough.. One thing I would recommend is be extremely specific. I think more seafood on the menu makes sense considering their name. I would make a batter fried shrimp, put it in a taco and drizzle some of the sweet raspberry chipotle sauce on it. And who makes a fish taco that’s not a fried filet? I liked their food better when they were Bajio. Especially the queso. Overall I really enjoy this food, sometimes the employees that work with me are not trained very well or have poor listening skills.. add some (fried) seafood to the menu and don’t hire people that can’t put ingredients together proportionally. . Oh yeah the fresh tortillas are delicious. ..

The food itself is acceptable. My problem is pretty much with their pricing, prices a couple terrible employees.

This place did not meet my expectations. My husband and I came for lunch expecting a restaurant similar to Chipotle/Qdoba? We knew it wasn’t going to be authentic Mexican food. The name in itself is a little misleading(Coast Life), I expected a few seafood options, but only saw Fish tacos. I ordered a chicken burrito. The burrito consisted of my choice of beans (black), chicken, rice, cheese, enchilada sauce (which I could have done without!), with lettuce and pico de gallo on the side! The burrito was boring! Didn’t get the option to add guacamole, lettuce, salsa..when I asked for salsa I was given a little side for 99 cents, and it was not even put in the burrito! I was thoroughly disappointed and would have much rather gone to slick rock burrito or Qdoba instead, where I can build my own burrito. The customer service wasn’t great. The prices are a little high for what you’re actually getting. I ended up spending $10 on something I didn’t particularly want in the end.
