Great food! My wife said she would commit a felony for the corn pasta. The staff was awesome. The best part is that they are kid friendly. The free wifi is a great bonus!
This restaurant has a nice laid back vibe to it and the food is above average. Of the dishes I have had they seem to be at the same quality. At times it can be a longer wait and the seating place is not truly fit for larger parties.
Great Ruben. Dropped in for lunch and had a great Ruben. Always looking for a really good Ruben, and Genos didn’t disappoint!
Food was bland, service was non-existent. Save your money and pass
Pork Burrita es splendita. Geno’s continues to steal my money. Well it’s not their fault really they just keep serving great food!! The chicken taco (with rancho black beans on the side instead of pasta salad) and the pork burrita really hit the spot. Mix in some great beer and you’ve got a Friday night. Figure out who’s driving because once you get into it you’re in for a good time. It’s what you make of it though; it’s been kind of quiet here lately so don’t expect a raging party bar environment. I’m calling it a gastropub where you can get some peace, whether you’re sitting inside or out.26 Oct, 2013What a great time!. The new Geno’s is great. Out with the old and in with the new familiar. I’m a Moon Time-Two Seven-Elk veteran of several years and was so happy to see some old favorites and great specials on the menu at Geno’s. The soup special was Chicken with White and Wild Rice. It’s one of my own specialties so had to order it and looved it. Warm bread and real butter on the side makes it so homey. I’ll watch the specials to catch my fave Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. I’m with others on the fry thing; we’re happy this company broke down and introduced fries, but thought they would be more fresh cut, per the style of how everything else is done. Kate made a great impression- very attentive and made sure we didn’t wait long. Will keep coming back and back and back.
The old Genos was one of my favorite places. The new Place is Ok.I miss the old menu and happy hour. When they get a good happy hour I’ll try it again.
I was extremly disappointed by the new Geno’s. I went to the old one at least once a week, they had the best specials and happy hour! Totally appealing to the college crowd- they were always packed. The new menu is smaller and just isn’t all that great, in general it is over priced. It is basically just like the elk which I like- but not as good. And I like the elk but I don’t need two of them. I am sure the new owners had good intentions, but they are really falling short. There is few things I hate more than overpaying for mediocre food and service. I will not be going back unless they implement a happy hour at the very least.
