A fun little sandwich shop that has your sandwiches ready to go very quickly. The atmosphere is Spokane Sports themed and is welcoming. The sandwiches are simple and good. I would recommend the smaller sized sandwich it was a realizable size.

A Gem Hidden in Plain Sight!. This is one of those places that you drive by thinking that one day I’ll stop there. Today was the day for us and I have already added it as a favorite!! This is your basic sandwich shop along the same lines as Domini’s downtown but here you can get lettuce & tomatoes!! Menu is very simple and straightforward which I really appreciated. Staff was supper friendly and service was quick. Anyone who reads my reviews regularly KNOWS that I am all about value. Shamus’ delivers in SPADES! Big sandwiches with tons of meat on super fresh bread–almost too much to finish (almost!). Two large sandwiches with drinks and chips was just about $16!!! I am gonna go here again and again!! You need to try this place today!
What a great place to eat!. Wife and I stopped in on a whim and we couldn’t have been more happy with the food and service. You will not be disapointed with the portion size or prices here. We will be back and we are telling everyone about the place.This is a must eat place for Spokane. Lets help it stay here.
Horrible First Experience. I have never left a bad review before so I apologize now for the rambling. Let me start off by saying that the atmosphere and customers seem very very nice. I went in there tonight and ordered 4 sandwiches. My friend ordered two. We paid separately. After the transactions I noticed there was something else I wanted so I paid for that in a 3rd transaction. After receiving my change I realized that I was given about $12 less than I should have received and asked my friend if I was doing the math correctly. Then my friend and I turned around and pointed out the error to the owner/cashier. He seemed baffled. I was holding the change I was given in the air and he still asked six or seven times how much he had given me. Then he told us that we were wrong..that we got the change from the orders confused. We basically had to argue with the man who seemed extremely confused for over 5 minutes before someone else stepped in ( a family member of his I believe) and handed us $10 from the register. I was very flustered so we left and ran to Kmart while they made our food. When we returned for our food we looked through it and realized that one sandwich was made incorrectly and the other was the wrong sandwich altogether. I was also charged for double cheese on both small subs that weren’t double cheese. The mishaps with the food were honestly no big deal..that happens ALL the time, no matter where you eat at. The customers all seemed so incredibly sweet and friendly. All in all we will never eat there again. The experience of having to argue with the owner to get most of my missing change back and that it seemed as if he was either intoxicated or having some sort of issue was enough to keep me away.
Bring Your Inner Carnivore…. For fans of Domini’s….picture their sandwiches with now an option of actually being able to put fixins on them. This is Shamus’s. New York deli amounts of meat on their creations, with all ingredients fresh and good. I tried the Shamus Famous and now I’ve had my corned beef fix for the month. The half I couldn’t finish will be devoured by one of my teenagers a little later. Sandwiches come with chips and a pickle spear, and those chips have good, crisp kettle-cooked substance. Nice clean place with friendly servers, plenty of local sports teams represented on the walls, a very big flat-screen over the counter, and beer on tap. Not a bad thing to say about them. Unless too much meat is a bad thing…?
