Good Food If Open or You Can Find Them There. I’ve been trying to find them open ever since I stumbled onto the place one afternoon by accident. The fish tacos I purchased then were, unlike most Americanized Mexican restaurants, fresh, delicious and the real deal. Unfortunately, whenever I’ve gone back during their supposed hours of operation, they haven’t actually been there and apparently they have no answering or message machine should you try to call. Too bad, as should their business practices continue like this, doubtful they’ll remain open for long, and I’d hate to lose them. But I’ve now made three attempts to visit and/or call them during their purported business hours without success…
Great Traditional Mex…. Fantastic taco truck-like fare in a brick & mortar facility. I mean that as a compliment. Delicious, fresh, and prepared as if you were sitting in mamasita’s kitchen. Only slightly more expensive than true taco trucks, but worth every penny. Nice gals in there, one taking care of the front and the other on the griddle. The stars of the show were a great chorizo con queso street taco, and the best presentation and flavored quesadilla I’ve yet to have in town. It’s a bit odd looking inside, probably because of whatever business was there previously, but it’s clean and comfortable. Tough area of town to make it in, by SCC, and I wish this family the best. Spokane needs to wake up and realize there is some superb–and affordable–ethnic cuisine all around them. I’ve lived/traveled around the world. I love it…
