Best Spokane Has to Offer. Took a friend to Wolf Creek Lodge (new name) for a celebration dinner. She had Rocky Mountain Oysters, which were not only presented attractively, but she assured me were delish. Main meals were grilled pork chops with garlic mashed baby red spuds, and green beans prepared perfectly. In all my years this is the only place Ive ever gone to that can cook a pork chop without drying it out! I had the sirloin, which was also cooked perfectly. The sauted mushrooms, grilled onions, and the creamy mushroom sauce were TDF!! They took this simple steak dinner to new heights. Heres a special tribute: Im not a fan of garlic mashed potatoes but theres were so good, I had to force myself to stop eating them. Our server, Tami was awesome, professional and tended to us well. Shes quite the salesperson, to boot. Her suggestions were spot on, and we were not a bit disappointed. The atmosphere is country casual, antler chandeliers, and warm. The place is a little difficult to find, but Google gave good directions. The only caution is that menu prices are highpersonally, I think theyre spot on considering how excellent everything is. Ive eaten there many times over the years and have yet to have a negative experience or bad meal. The crme brle was amazing, the chocolate cake was goodnot great. Wolf Creek Lodge is well worth the price, and is frankly the best restaurant in Spokane!19 Feb, 2014Great food and good service every time. I’ve eaten at WL several times and have yet to have a bad meal. Everything every time I’ve ordered has been superb. When we celebrated my father’s birthday there, they showered him with attention, right down to the baked potato looking ice cream dish they served him at no charge. It actually looked like a real baked potato. Our rather large party was served well and by great wait staff. We had everything from rocky mountain oysters to steaks to pork chops. Everything was perfectly done. The atmosphere was great and–wait for it–we didn’t even have a reservation. Do not confuse this Wolfe Lodge with the one in Idaho they are worlds apart. I highly recommend.
Surprising service. We had just stopped in after shopping to get dinner, being lazy and not wanting to cook.We were happily surprised by the service after having planned a dinner out two weeks earlier at Churchill’s, where we expected service and got none. The waitress was cheery and attentive, along with the rest of the front staff. the water glasses were never allowed to be less than half full.I was happily pleased with the prime rib, and the featured wine tastings from Vin Du Lac winery was a nice touch. Along with being delicious they were reasonably priced. The Prime Rib was also very good, along with all the sides being fully cooked.
Probably the best place to get a steak in town. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth, plus they cook it exact to preference. The crab artichoke dip is fabulous and the service has always been top notch. My husband and I have eaten here over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed.
Sooo friggin good. Ive been her twice and both time me and my husband split the sweetheat deal. we get an amazing 32oz steak salads, and veggies for like 48$ everything is always amazing the steak is out of this world the staff is friendly and great i love it and i always want to go back. everything is cooked perfect and they have a house dressing that is smokey onion ranch- mouth watering. i love this place although i suggest making a reservation.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!. Me and my boyfriend went to the wolf lodge to celebrate our one year anniversary. The hostess told us we would only be waiting for 20 mins. After waiting for an hour with visible empty tables we decided to leave. I will never go here again. We also reminded the hostess we were still waiting a few times and her reply was is would only be a few more minutes.
Awful. Very disappointing. Escargot should not taste like the dirt at the bottom of a fish tank. The stuffed mushrooms were strange to say the least. At a fancy steakhouse I would expect better salad dressing than those found at every greasy diner. The steaks were fine. If you want a great steak dinner skip this place.
