Not too keen on this place.. The reviewer that said they need a lesson in customer service is ABSOLUTELY correct. The woman that took my order had a definite air about her that indicated that our visit was an inconvenience to her and whatever else she needed to be doing at the time. And then, when my son (who is only six) couldn’t quite figure out what he wanted, she grew impatient and suggested we let other people by until he could make up his mind…this is even after the one person behind us insisted that it was ok and to take our time. The food is average, and my sandwich had WAY too much mustard, even though I asked for them to go easy on the mustard. No, sorry, not worth my time or money. NEXT.
Just finished my second meal there and I was still unimpressed! My husband’s sandwich was made wrong by the lady who took our order (someone who needs to take a lesson in customer service) and was remade incorrectly as well. This might be tolerable if their offerings were spectacular, but they are nothing short of mediocre. A small town bakery with good potential, but POOR execution!
Best Lunch Hands Down. Great food, great views, nice staff. What more can you say, these people have been doing this for 37 years and they obviously get it right! My kids beg me to take them there (they are now adults!!). Shrimp Bisque every Saturday is to die for.01 May, 2009Great Food. Best lunch around, good value, good food, great view. You have to try one of their Marion Berry Rolls, the size of a house, and YUMMY
Oh my gosh!. I have to say this is the best bakery I have ever went to in my entire life! Cinnamon roll are TO DIE FOR!!!
Good spot a true local joint. My mom used to take me here all the time as a youngster too.
Best cinnamon roll I’ve had. Damn fine coffee as well. A perfect place to start a rainy Whidbey Island day.
Yummy breakfast rolls!. I haven’t tried anything but the marion berry rolls but they are worth the trip. I can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the food.
