Seems the owner (or manager, Asian old guy, but not Asian American) could be a racist. Had a minor accident, where I took out a no parking sign on the sidewalk in front of his business. Because there was no damage to the vehicle and it would have been in a awkward spot had I left it there. He overreacted to this big time and I’m really suspicious why. 1/2 the time I go into restaurants that are Asian owned (again not Asian American) they act like they don’t want Black people there. His overreaction is proof

It was good. Our whole family liked it. Shanghai in issaquah was better but we will come back. We went at lunch and it was completely empty which was nice.

The service was great but the food was not. Typical American Chinese; over fried, too sweet and no veggies to be seen.

Reliable Issaquah Chinese. We have been dining here, off and on, for 30 years. Yes, there has been some missteps (recently, our dishes were very salty). But, overall, good service and great food. Yes, many of the dishes are somewhat Americanized, but that’s what we crave sometimes and we order their combination dinner: tastes great and we always have left over for next day’s lunch.

Best Chinese in the US. I’ve been to many places in the United States. Nothing compares to Andy’s restaurant, wherever you go I bet you will compare Mandarin Garden to any Chinese restaurant. Nothing will come close to his level of freshness and taste. His food is good the next day also!
