Tube meat is not as popular in the Northwest like it is back East, so it was nice to find a joint that specialized in the product. It’s a bacon lover’s menu. Most all of their house specialties have it incorporated in the ingredients, and some even have the dog gloriously wrapped in bacon. I knew when I saw their signature dish online (The Tri-Cities Special) that I’d be giving it a shot. German sausage lying on a bed of cream cheese, caramelized onions, Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce, and of course–bacon. It really was delicious, but nothing I’d consider trying to make at home. I’ll leave it to the pros. All other items I tried were well prepared, visually attractive, and the bites I had were delicious as well. And I can’t think of one kid that I know between the ages of 5 and 15 that wouldn’t have gone nuts over their Mac Daddy Dawg. I can see where some folks might think their menu is a bit pricey, but when you get the product right in front of you and take the first bite–all will be well. It’s sinfully hearty, and for the quality and flavor, what they charged was spot on. Bacon ain’t cheap, Gunga Din. This place uses it like a condiment…
