Carmines. Good pasta and good enviroment… in regards to other posts there is a difference between authentic italian in Italy and authentic italian in usa.
Great place. The owner, Carmine is delightful and makes for a great evening. Food is very good (family style with limited choices) but tasty. Limited wine choices (try the Sicilian), but relax and enjoy yourself.
Best Local Restaurant. We need more local places! Carmine’s is a gem. Yes, the menu is limited, but the food is awesome. Wonderful family atmosphere. It feels like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s.
Rob. Had dinner at Carmine’s last Friday night and had the shrimp over linguini and it was outstanding. The place and owners are marvelous and present authentic east coast Italian supper club atmosphere. The reviewers who said they didn’t like it….well, one did like Carl’s Jr and Olive Garden. The other who said she was nauseated by some kind of shrimp dish, well…….need I say more. Try this place, you won’t be disappointed.
Get Real!. If this is authentic Italian, them I’m not (and I am).
Simply….it’s the real deal. Authentic, tasty, robust, flavorful, good service, etc. Don’t miss a chance to experience Carmine’s.
