Don’t argue with the customer. Maybe it it was just a bad day for me but I’m tired of going to places that have poor service. It’s sad because they have the best view in Tri-Cities. I can not ever remember one time I have been here that we have been given great service. What prompted this rant is I was served what I felt was over done food the server and then the manager told that was the way it had to be cooked. I explained I have ordered this before and this was the 1st time it has ever been this over done. After the 4th time I was told that it was not over down I was ok with just canceling the order. When we left it appeared they had given the order to some people at the bar that made sure we could hear how much they enjoyed my order(I had touched the food and picked at to see how over done it was, I am guessing that u shouldn’t reserve food that been left at a table) also felt it was very rued to have to feel that way at any restaurant! I hope they will read the reviews and step up their game and come back to the premier local restaurant that it use to be.

Fantastic Service & Tasty Food. We love eating at the Cedars Restaurant. Dave, the owner, is friendly and does everything he can to make sure our dining experience is unforgettable. He goes above and beyond! The food we have ordered is so tasty especially the Biergarten Steak! It’s the most tender, flavorful steak we have ever eaten. The salad bar is the finest I have ever tasted; everything is cold, crisp and fresh. I could make a meal with just the salad bar. Keep up the fantastic, friendly service and continue serving tasty food!

Really enjoy dining at Cedars. My wife and I dined at Cedars to celebrate our 24th anniversary. I gave her the choice of any restaurant in the area, and she selected Cedars. We dine there once every couple of months, and normally go there on special occasions. We consistently have great meals there, steaks and seafood. Dave, the owner, always takes time to visit with us, even though he is always very busy. The wait staff is very good, and keeps an eye on us to provide extra rolls, refill ice teas, etc. The Columbia River view is something special. Needless to say, we’ll be back.

This place has gone to the dogs. Used to be a treat, but we will never go back! Food and service do not justify the prices! Round table pizza had a better salad bar. My food was Luke-warm. Steak way over cooked. They did replace it, but by then everyone else done debating. Service was poor. Requested bread never arrived, one refill of soda took a second request and far too long. She didn’t check on satisfaction with the meal until we called her over and complained. All this and they didn’t even discount; IMHO they should have comped at least one meal. Too bad, we used to enjoy it. Never again!

Some good steak, halibut special was pretty bad. Service not so good.

Have to agree with the previous two posts. This place no longer deserves the great reviews it got 2-3 years ago. Ate there so we could watch the lighted boat parade on the river. Never again. Two in our party had stale, rubbery crab cakes. At least the server took them off the bill. This place has the potential to rival Anthony’s. Let’s hope they up their game and live up to their great location.

Expensive and mediocre. Great location that is not being used to its full potential. Prices are above average for what you get. Food quality is more mom and pop than fine dining. Fried Calamari is obviously frozen mass produced and not good. Salad bars haven’t been around for 20 years, but worse it is minimally stocked – no sardines, fruits, cheeses, meats like bacon, diced ham, etc. Service quality depends upon which waiter you get with apparently little consistent training of staff. The lounge area by a wood fire is worth going to, but the dining needs to be revamped significantly to compete with new chains like Twiggs and Texas Roadhouse.
