First, Shanghai serves delicious food for the money. This is not a high end restaurant but the portions are generous and quite good. We usually eat as a group of five and we always leave satisfied with some left over. They serve a wide variety of tastes on the menu. It’s hard to go wrong but once we find something we really like we tend to reorder it. We especially like the Hunan Chicken, Honey Garlic Chicken, and Curry Chicken.The owners are quite pleasant. The only drawback is that getting our drinks refilled is hit or miss. Other than that, we really love to eat here.
If you’re an average American, this is typical Chinese food. We ate it, and it was OK. If you’re a foodie, steer clear. We will not be going back.
3 stars. I won’t be going back/ordering again. I ordered takeout and my husband picked up. He mentioned that he would never eat there due to his first impression of a dirty/messy kitchen and a rude takeout hostess. I’m giving it 3 stars, because the food WAS really good and big portions (lemon chicken, fried rice, subgum chow mein, egg roll, and egg flower soup).
Bathroom is filthy…makes me wonder about the kitchen. Walked out…
